White Bread

When I think about bread or read some recipes I definitely feel that perfect smell of the freshly baked bread. Here is the simplest recipe I’ve ever done ✅ Easy to make, and getting soft and fluffy bread in the result.














Ingredients:


360 g bread flour

6 g fast action dried yeast

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

220 g warm water (about 40 °C)

25 g veg oil


Method:


1. Combine all ingredients and knead a dough by hands or with a stand mixer. It takes about 3-4 minutes with mixer and a little bit longer by hands. The dough should become smooth and elastic.

2. Form dough into a ball, put in a mixing bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel or any cloth. Leave the dough to rise until doubled in size for 30 mins in a warm place. I usually preheat the oven for 40 C and put dough inside.

3. After the dough has risen, put the dough on a floured surface and flatten with hands or roller.


4. Roll dough and flatten again.


5. Then make a bread-shape, put onto the oven tray, (put baking paper or silicone mat onto the tray) cover dough with kitchen towel and leave for 20 more minutes to rise one more time.

The dough should rise twice



6. Take a sharp knife and make slits.


Optionally you can spread the bread with milk or water (using silicone brush) to develop a crisp crust, and sprinkle with flour.

7. Put the bread into the preheated (180 °C) oven. Bake 25-30 minutes.
